How to Choose Black Friday Deals on AliExpress

1. Keep each order under £135 — up to £135, AliExpress charges 20% UK VAT at checkout and there’s no customs duty. Above it, VAT and any duty are collected on import, usually with a carrier handling fee. Several small orders beat one big basket.
2. Screenshot the price now — “original” prices often go up before a sale. Save today’s price (or use the ones on this page) and compare the final checkout total on the day.
3. Stack the discounts — sale price, store coupons and AliExpress coupons can combine. The checkout page shows what was applied.
4. Christmas: trust the delivery date — each listing shows an estimated delivery date before you pay. For presents, pick items whose estimate lands well before Christmas — Choice items and listings that ship from a UK or European warehouse are usually fastest.
5. Electricals: UK plug and 230 V — for hair dryers, vacuums and chargers choose the UK (Type G) plug option if offered, or use a proper adapter, and check the device supports 220–240 V.
